FAQ
1. How easy is it to connect? Connect the red + (positive) wire to the red + (positive) terminal on your battery and connect the black ground wire to the ground terminal on the battery, fish quick connect side through to the trunk and connect one of our products. Its that simple! 2. Will it harm my bike? No. It was designed specifically for motorcycles. As an added precaution, it has a 15 amp fuse to protect your phone or any other device connected to it. 3. Do I need to keep going under my seat to connect and disconnect it? No, just connect our harness which comes with the phone adapter and that's it, its out of the way . You can leave it on for the lifetime of you bike. 4. Will it fit my bike? It fits all bikes. Bike with trunks are better to put phones away, but bikes without trunks can still take advantage of these products by simply wire tying it to a convenient part on the bike. 5. Can I talk on the phone while riding? Maybe you can, but we don't recommend it. Many states now have laws in effect that prohibit talking on the phone while riding. It is to charge your phone while you ride so in an emergency you will have a fully charged phone , no need to go home to charge your phone. And besides, who is possibly that important to talk to while you're burning up the asphalt? 6. Can I use it to inflate my tire? Yes. Attach an air compressor and put air in your tire if need be. No more riding on a dangerously low tire to the local gas station to fumble around for change for air or pulling next to the car to get air etc. Simply plug the air compressor in and pump, pump, pump it up. 7. Are the wires thick enough to jump start my bike? Yes, they were designed to allow for a constant charge. We thoroughly tested this capability. 8. Is it safe to use in the rain? Yes, it is water resistant. All plastic and rubber is molded from high quality nylon/plastic, no metal is exposed and there are no crimped ends. The fuse is cover by a thick tight fitting cover to ensure no water enters the fuse area. |
